We reimagined a neglected side yard into a highly efficient, multi-level sanctuary designed for dining, lounging, and discovery. By introducing a sleek concrete patio paired with a dual-level timber deck, we maximized the home's footprint to create distinct "rooms" for both adult relaxation and active play. The design balances a modern, clean aesthetic—featuring low-profile cable railings—with whimsical, organic elements like hand-stacked stone walls. To ensure the space feels private despite its proximity to neighbors, we integrated custom magnetic privacy screens that double as interactive play panels, turning a functional boundary into a creative focal point for the whole family.
